Summary of the story
It is noteworthy that the love of money is not an uncommon trait among mountain bandits. In exchange for a chest full of gold, a mountain bandit may offer herself to a black-bellied prince, thus initiating a beautiful romance.
Chang Le, also known as Eleanor Lee, was once a free-spirited and untamed female bandit. However, she assumes the role of a counterfeit bride in a marriage to Crown Prince Li Che, portrayed by Zhao Yiqin. Upon entering the confines of the palace, Chang Le struggles to adapt to the repeated humiliations she endures.
Despite her predicament, Chang Le exhibits remarkable resilience, much like a feral cat displaying her true colors. Li Che, who has been cautious every step of the way, finds himself gradually drawn to Chang Le's vivacity. Both individuals conceal their true motives behind a mask, yet they find solace in each other's company.
