Summary of the story
Upon awakening, Xiangwan finds herself reliving her second year of high school. However, she is no longer the top-performing student in her class, but rather finds herself at the bottom of the academic hierarchy. In her fervent pursuit to regain her former status, she undergoes a transformative journey that challenges her preconceived notions about others.
In the year 2020, the accomplished 28-year-old Nan Xiangwan (Li Landi) holds the esteemed position of HR director at a globally recognized corporation. Despite her professional success, Xiangwan harbors a deep-seated anxiety rooted in her staunch belief in the importance of academic credentials. Through intensive psychotherapy, Xiangwan is transported back in time to her senior year of high school, where she grapples with the challenge of integrating into Class 7. In order to secure her admission to Guanghua University, Xiangwan must navigate a series of obstacles, including interruptions from her classmates, reconciling with her once-estranged father, and confronting painful memories from her past. Along the way, Xiangwan forms a meaningful friendship with fellow student Lin Xiaoran (Lai Kuanlin), a physical education enthusiast. Through these relationships, Xiangwan gradually learns that academic achievement is not the sole measure of success.
