Summary of the story
Young Liu Shao encounters an enigmatic gentleman, with whom she bargains her forthcoming days in exchange for a brief period of felicity. Prior to this, she had been living a life of leisure as an heiress, until she became entangled in the conflict between the celestial beings and the malevolent entities. Her participation in this conflict leads to the unraveling of various romantic liaisons between herself and Lu Li, the veiled immortal enshrouded in secrecy.
